Every Vantage engagement follows the same discipline. It begins with the decision management needs to make and ends with a structured evidence record and a prioritised path to the next step.

Define the decision
Identify the deal, appointment, payment, shipment or obligation management is preparing to commit to, and agree the scope.

Map the dependencies
Identify parties, jurisdictions, documents, responsibilities and requirements the decision depends upon.

Examine the evidence
Review client-supplied documentation and reliable sources, recording what each item actually evidences.

Record source and verification
Attach a source and verification date to each material item so the position can be revisited later.

Identify gaps and escalations
Separate established facts from assumptions, flag inconsistencies and distinguish matters requiring specialist determination.

Set actions and status
Establish required actions, express the position within the agreed scope and create the structured evidence record.
Three evidence positions
The position is expressed within the agreed scope in one of three terms, each accompanied by the evidence supporting it and the open points that remain.
- Ready
- The evidence examined supports proceeding to the next step within the agreed scope, subject to normal commercial judgement.
- Conditional
- Proceeding is supportable once specific, identified matters are resolved, obtained or confirmed.
- Material Gaps
- Significant evidence or dependencies are missing, inconsistent or unresolved; the next step should await their resolution.
Technology, used with discipline
Technology and AI-assisted workflows may assist with evidence extraction, classification, comparison, research, discrepancy detection, evidence mapping and workflow management. This allows large and fragmented document sets to be structured quickly and consistently.
All such work is subject to confidentiality controls. Material findings and readiness determinations remain subject to human review before they reach management. Technology supports the review; it does not replace professional judgement.
Where specialists are required
Vantage identifies matters requiring legal, customs, technical, financial, engineering, certification or regulatory determination and escalates them to appropriately qualified professionals. Vantage does not provide regulated professional advice and does not certify compliance.
